★Who did you first cosplay as?
Um...I think my VERY first cosplay to a con was Sakura from Fate/Stay Night. We did the school uniforms after the anime came out that season and didn't realize that the series was based off an ero PC game so we got quite a few odd responses We tried never to make that same mistake again haha! Although FSN was a cool show.


★When and where did you first cosplay?
At Sakura Con with my close friends from school


★When and where was the last time you cosplayed?
This recent November Gasukan at the UW HUB!


★Who have you cosplayed as in the past?
Sakura Matou - Fate/Stay Night
Xiao Long Nu - Legend of Condor Heroes (Chinese TV Series)
Maya Fey - Phoenix Wright
Rhyme - The World Ends With You

★Who is your favourite person to cosplay as?
My current favorite is definitely China Rhyme & Maya were also very comfortable and close seconds~


★Who do you REALLY wanna cosplay as?
I am currently working on Iceland from APH at the moment to be the little brother to Anne's Norway This is a completely open ended goal but I hope to one day cosplay Sakura Shinguji from Sakura Wars ^^

★How many of your friends cosplay?
Most of my close friends do or at least have but some are busy now and don't have the time which is understandable!


★Have you ever walked around in public in your cosplay outfit?
A few times! Usually it's right before/during/after a con though. My friends and I did walk through a Vancouver mall in our TWEWY outfits! lol


★Have people in public ever recognised you and asked for photos?
Um I got a lady who recognized my China outfit from her childhood so she asked for pics :3 I hope that counts!


★Have you ever made your own cosplay outfits?
I've sewn bits and pieces of some of my outfits but I'm not great at sewing so in the past I put costumes together or ordered them. I hope to work on sewing to make outfits in the future.


★When and where did you first learn of cosplay?
A group of my friends wanted to go to Sakura Con for the first time and one of them seemed to know how big cosplay was and encouraged us all to do our very first cosplay!


★What did you think of it then?
I was intrigued! I had heard about it before but didn't know if I could pull it off


★What do you think of it now?
One of the most fun hobbies I can think of~ The people you meet are great!

★Where do you usually cosplay?
Cons and gatherings


★Have you ever done a cosplay skit on stage?
Ah sadly nope.


★Have you ever won a prize for said skit?
Nope.


★Do you plan your cosplay outfits way before you’re meant to wear them?
Ah usually I have what I want to do generally planned out about a year in advance but I don't usually start working on them until later.


★Have you ever been to a convention and cosplayed?
Yes! It's where I started ^^


★What is the best thing about cosplay?
Meeting wonderful people and being able to share your passion for a series with others! Also just hanging out and bonding with your good friends!


★What is the worst thing about cosplay?
Sometimes you end up putting a little too much time/thought into it and get frustrated if things don't work out. That & the money


★Why do you cosplay?
I cosplay because through this hobby I get to meet people having fun and smiling and I get to do the same!
